Mmmm, coffee. A subject that generates a lot of passionate opinion, and there are more knowledgeable and more motivated coffee experts than me. I don’t claim that this method is perfect, or unique, or original. Nevertheless here is my cafetière method; for which I assert the following properties:
- time efficient
- warms the mug(s)
- maximises strength of coffee per bean
- no wasted energy in boiling water
- avoids water-too-hot-bitter-coffee syndrome
